Your players only have to have one sub par game against Rutgers or Cincinnati. 07-coffee3

In this case, its no different. BCS bowl now isn't what it was when you were in CUSA. This is exactly like CUSA for you. While being perfect is the best bet, you don't necessarily have to be. You have a full game lead on your most realistic threat (Louisville). Your only other threat is Houston whom you have at home.

Losing a trap game to UConn, Temple, etc. won't hurt as long as you win the rest.

What I'm getting at is that just because a BCS bowl looms doesn't mean there's more pressure. All you have to do is play UCF football and it will take care of itself now.

RE: I hate all this UCF hype
There's still alot of football to play. You still have Houston, Rutgers, USF and SMU. Would not be surprised to see 1 or 2 losses in there.

You could easily have 5 teams tied at the top at the end of the season - UofL, UC, Rutgers, Houston and UCF. Even USF, SMU and UConn aren't out of it.

Get used to this. Unlike C-USA, you'll have 5-6 teams competing for the conference championship every year. It will be a very rare year when the conference champion goes undefeated.

Yes, but UCF is not relying on help, they can win it by winning out. They are in the cat-bird seat right now. 07-coffee3

You probably didn't follow CUSA closely after Cincy left, but it was usually pretty close. There hasn't been a single undefeated CUSA champ in the 8 years since changing to the divisional format. The closest we got was in 2011 when Houston made it to the championship undefeated and then lost to Southern Miss.
