What is going on with the team...they were crushed last night by georgia and they are getting smashed again today if they lose today it's four in a row that we have lost...

It's baseball. These things do happen. Better now than at the end of the season. I think they'll right the ship. They'd better. I can't deal with another meltdown like two years ago.

Don't worry just yet. Even though UA is in 1st tonight, we are SUPER young and are inconsistent right now. We start an entire freshman OF and a freshman at 2nd base, plus 1 of our starting 3 SEC rotation pitchers is a frosh...all in all 20 players on the team either fresh or sophs.

I expect it to be a close 3-horse race to the end between UA, UM, and UT for the SEC. We got lucky tonight and won on a HBP in the 9th. Ball will bounce a lot of ways before it's over.

I hope you're right CTH. I'm really impressed with what Arkansas is doing this season. I thought that South Carolina was going to be the darlings of the SEC this year. They had a great start in non-conference games, but just haven't gotten it done in SEC play yet. As for the Rebs, we haven't experienced this year this season. For now, I think this is happening at the right time. There's time to fix it and get back to where we were.

We just had to draw the UGA team that swept Florida, didn't we? We couldn't get the one that got smoked by Clemson in mid-week games earlier this season. :bang:

One thing is for sure, there is no argument that this is the most competitive conference in the country in baseball.
