Remaining Undefeated, Winless, and 1 loss teams (after week 8)
Teams with 1st loss week 8:
Louisville
UCLA
Houston
Clemson

Teams with 1st win week 8:
Temple

Teams with 2nd loss week: 8:
South Carolina
Maryland
Texas A&M
LSU

Percent of Last Week's Undefeated Teams with 1st loss:
Week 1: 41.13% (51 of 124)
Week 2: 31.51% (23 of 73)
Week 3: 30% (15 of 50)
Week 4: 17.14% (6 of 35)
Week 5: 31.03% (9 of 29)
Week 6: 15% (3 of 20)
Week 7: 17.65% (3 of 17)
Week 8: 28.57% (4 of 14)

Week 8 Thoughts: Fairly big week. Stanford recovered from its loss to Utah to beat UCLA and leave Oregon alone as an undefeated in the PAC-12. In the ACC, the big match-up between undefeated Clemson and Florida State resulted in a massive Florida State win. Miami (FL) came back for a win Thursday against North Carolina. Missouri continues to defy expectations and beat Florida. They are now the favorite in the SEC East and are setting their sights higher than that. We saw both the American undefeated go down with Central Florida beating Louisville on Friday and Houston loosing a high scoring game to BYU.

From the winless side, Temple beat Army removing itself from the list. That means the only two remaining winless teams from the same conference are Miami (OH) and Western Michigan and they do not play this year meaning we are done with games between winless teams.
On the 1 loss side, the main lesson was that it was a week of upset in the SEC. South Carolina, LSU, and Texas A&M all suffered their 2nd loss this week and all in games most would have picked them in (or at least I would have).

Week 9 Thoughts: We have no games between undefeated teams this week. We have 2 games where an undefeated is playing a strong 1 loss team with #12 UCLA @ #3 undefeated Oregon and undefeated #10 Texas Tech @ #15 Oklahoma. We also have 1 game between 1 loss teams with #6 Stanford @ #25 Oregon State.

Other big games involving undefeated or 1 loss teams: #24 Nebraska plays @ Minnesota. #9 1 loss Clemson trying to recover this week at Maryland, 1 loss #14 Virginia Tech hosting a 5-2 Duke team, Penn State at #4 Ohio State, # 1 Alabama playing a Tennessee team that has recently scared/beaten South Carolina and Georgia, and #21 South Carolina @ #5 Missouri. If Missouri wins that one, wrap up the division trophy for them.

On the winless side, winless West Michigan plays at 1-6 UMass.

RE: Remaining Undefeated, Winless, and 1 loss teams (after week 8)
My guess is there will be no unbeaten teams at the end of season.

Florida State - will lose in the ACC CCG
Miami (FL) - will lose to FSU
Baylor - will lose to Oklahoma
Texas Tech- will lose to Baylor
Ohio State - will lose to MSU in Big TEN CCG
Northern Illinois - will lose to Ball State
Fresno State - will lose to Boise in MWC CCG rematch
Oregon - will lose to Stanford
Missouri - will lose to Texas A&M
Alabama - will lose to Auburn

I tell you the last 2 weeks of the season are going to be chaos!!!
