They played their heart out yesterday and played with pride to only lose by 6. These are young and maturing adults. They aren't pros and deserve no boos whatsoever.

Coaches are paid to win games...the play calling deserved boos.

late in the fourth quarter they called 3 straight runs including a 3rd down and long .. and we were down 2 scores... this is the only time i heard boos...

I do not boo anyone, not even the refs or the opponents. I don't begrudge people booing the refs or the opponents, but i can't think of a time when it's acceptable to boo our kids. Booing the coaches/play calling is iffy, because the kids are the ones hearing it and you don't want them thinking they are being booed.

To be honest I figured any boos were directed at the refs.

For what it's worth, I don't boo anyone playing a game. I might make an exception at a pro event, but even that is boorish.
The rest of you can boo away, but it adds nothing to the outcome.

I'm not sure about that. Possibly could make that case for the 4th quarter but the other 3 were terribly lackluster.

I heard folks booing Lynch at least once. And no I wasn't one of them.

I felt the boos were for the play calling rather than the play. I wouldn't do it but...

The boos were for play calling and the refs. Paid people should be able to take expressions of displeasure at doing a crappy job. Fuente is a very highly paid individual, he should be able to take it, especially after seeing his hysterics directed at referees. Referees expect boos, I think many relish it and Saturday, (in fact, several times this season) they deserved it. This is an arena sport, cheers and jeers are completely acceptable and part of the fun.

But, since this is "amateur" athletics and our players are technically volunteers, I refrain form ever booing our players.

To each his own, but if I was a player, not sure I could distinguish, in the heat of the moment, between home crowd boos at the play calling, vs. boos at the players themselves.
