Win some games. Cant blame them for not wanting to waste time and money supporting a dog **** product that gets beat by freakin SMU at home

Do you have season tickets?

Cant afford them

Do you go to games or do you just get on here and whine and cry about attendance and performance not even go to the games.

If you can't afford a ticket, I assure you if you walk thru Tiger Lane on game day and ask around, there are plenty of people willing to give away extra tickets. I took some neighbors yesterday and they were prepared to buy tickets. The first person we asked handed them 2 tickets. The tickets were not near mine, but we had no trouble finding a place where all 6 of us could sit.

Sheldon's correct. If you live in Memphis, being unable to afford tickets is not a legitimate excuse. You can park for free in the neighborhood west of Tiger Lane and a quick walk down Tiger Lane will always net you a free ticket(s).

We didn't need you to tell us that 11 AM start times are rough, but I can guarantee you that if we were undefeated at the time of our 11 AM game, instead of 1-4, we would have had a crowd three times larger than your pitiful crowd. So get out of our "shi!!y crowd" thread and go make apples to oranges comparisons somewhere else.

People don't need an "excuse" not to go. No one is obligated to attend a college football game. It's a choice of how to spend your time and money on entertainment.

It appears as if some those who go to every game are blaming others for the fact that, on some occasions, less than 20K people show up. As I said in a previous post, you either need to learn to be OK with that OR you should invest in a different product that more people want, if you are so inclined. If you start going to Alabama games, I assure you that you'll never have to worry about the atmosphere of a half empty stadium. But, if you are loyal to the Tigers, accept that, historically, there has never been a huge demand for this product (at least not football). Accept that people can spend their money as they see fit. Accept that there's a good chance you can buy a cheap seat but sit wherever you want because there are only 25K at the game.

And before you point to the DeAngelo years, I'm well aware that the Tigers are capable of drawing 45K fans. That's not the norm nor is it the point.

My point is that you can't blame people when they choose not to show up. You can't be angry at the consumer for not wanting the product.

No blame Timin, we were just trying to help a fellow Tiger fan out. He said he couldn't afford tickets to the games and Sheldon and I were pointing out that it is, in fact, very easy to get into a Tiger football game without spending a penny (other than gas) to do so.

By the way, I actually do attend a Bama game about every other year. It gives me shivers and goosbumps to dream of the Liberty Bowl packed to the seams with screaming Tiger fans. Someday...Someday...

Never done a Bama home game, but did go when they played the Tigers here years ago. I bet that place is rocking. I do make it to Norman one a year for a Sooner game. Been going about 40 years and it is a sight. There are several other Tiger fans we go with that are closet Sooner fans. When the crowd gets going and the team is playing well, it is a fun place to be. I guarantee there are no $5 tickets there. I buy them off the street and pay well over $100 a ticket and those are nose bleed seats. I doubt the Liberty Bowl will ever duplicate what Bama and OU have done, but we can get back to a steady 35 or 40k crowd and should be able to win 7 or 8 games after Justin has time to turn this program around.
