But come Tuesday night, I just have a feeling that it's our turn now.

It may very we'll be. The days of the 5-peat are over. Back to back is nothing to sneeze at. We have to be down at some point. From all the turnover. Just a matter of when.

If we play like we played at Auburn, we could see another score like last year in Lafayette.

I could see us blowing you guys out if our offense is clicking.

If we play like we did at Memphis, we'll be lucky to avoid a shutout.

If the team that showed up in Memphis shows up, you probably could. If you get the team that had a 3rd quarter lead over a top 15 Missouri squad, no way it turns into a blowout.

Hud and the Seniors are probably looking to be making a statement and you guys were on the radar even before the season started. We owe you.

I'm pessimistic, but I was pessimistic until after game 7 under Freeze and game 8 under Malzahn.

Not sure why some of you guys are so pessimistic. While I believe the Cajuns have the talent for a solid win on the road, we're still talking about a bunch of 18-20 year olds. Anything can happen and stAte has been a proven performer for several years now.

This is another "nothing will surprise me" game. Regardless of the outcome, I bet the fans are in a for treat.

ASU had one bad game on the road against a rival with a pretty solid defense. We are not without talent. The league remains very competitive though and any game can go against you. Even the great Hugh Freeze needed a big 4th down stop against WKU and a blocked punt against ULM to get a title.

I think we have a slight talent edge and a huge motivational edge. I still say the game will be UL 3 ASU 2.

It's in Troy's best interest that Louisiana wins. 38-28 is my guess. And not wanting ASU to win has nothing to do with my pick, I just think so far Louisiana is the better team.

Your QB is athletic enough to run the read option which gives you an edge. RB is fairly even but our OL has had trouble opening holes against the SEC teams and Memphis (Memphis actually has a very good DL). We have some WRs that match up with any in the conference and out TEs are very good.

Defensively we are not as young as some of our fans are letting on but we are mixing in some young guys including 3 true freshmen. Our first unit DL is as strong as any in the conference but behind that is not much depth. Idaho got most of their production in the third quarter when a few of our best DL were out of the game for various reasons. You have to take advantage of the times we rotate our DL if you are the UL offense.

I expect a shootout.

This is about what I'm expecting. I think UL has the talent edge finally for the first time in a few years. Talent does not always equate to wins though, especially on the road at where the home team hasn't lost in 16 games, and by given 2 days extra game planning and rest prior to the game. This game will go back and forth, I think the Cajuns will pull it out because of haunting memories of last years destruction, but aren't able to put it away until the 4th quarter. Cajuns win 34-28.

I have to chuckle a bit when they say Broadway can run. He runs pretty slow and is awkward at it. He can kill you through the air and if he have to do it he can run a bit. Harris is a beast at RB and we have a bunch of other RB's just as good. We can play the grind it out game if we choose to do so. Our defense was our weakest link but they have only improved as the year has gone on. If you start to light up our D look for Hud to start grinding it out on you. The biggest factor is Hud and the team is hungry for a championship. We are going to give you 110%. I think we are going to blowup ASU. There will be no shootout. UL 3 ASU 2.

Dude, this is absolutely the stupidest post of the day from you. Broadway is slow? How many games have you attended over the past few seasons? The guy had 3 runs of 60 yards or more last season for TDs. You really shouldn't say things that make you look so stupid!

Dude I'm comparing him to Brian Mitchell. He was a real run and gun threat. I've seen other QB's with Brian's abilities and Broadway just doesn't have that skill set.

Depends on which decades your talking about.
80's - About 16. Mitchell was my first Cajun Qb and he could throw well but his running game was the best I've ever seen.
90's - The last of the Stokley years, I was in New Orleans and saw about 7 games.
Bladwin Years - 1 game. Made me sick.
Bustle Years - 5 games.
Hud Years - 8 games including the NOLA Bowl games. RCFA member for two years. I believe in Hud and what he's doing. I have yet to see Broadway buts one open for a forty yard touchdown like Mitchell. I see Broadway looking to pass first then if he has too he will run. He isn't the best runner. I think he is a good QB just not a big threat to run for more than ten yards at a time.

My favorite Cajun QB is the one that backed up Gauthier in 2011.

Chris Masson or Brad McGuire?

Has to be Brad McGuire. He's the one that came in for a hurt Michael Desormeaux when stAte came play us at home, and got us the W.

Chris Mason. He came in briefly during the 2011 game in Jonesboro and threw a poor pass that ended in a critical interception that turned the game around and gave us the win.

For like the next year I was on the "Chris Mason for Cajun starting QB bandwagon"

Chris Mason. He came in briefly during the 2011 game in Jonesboro and threw a poor pass that ended in a critical interception that turned the game around and gave us the win.

For like the next year I was on the "Chris Mason for Cajun starting QB bandwagon"

Ohhhh yea. I was sitting in the middle of stAte fans when Masson came in. Maybe had 1-2 quick dump passes. One of them told me he looked better than Gautier, to which I quickly dismissed and told him to wait for the big mistake. Not too long after, Masson threw that pick.

But come Tuesday night, I just have a feeling that it's our turn now.

It may very we'll be. The days of the 5-peat are over. Back to back is nothing to sneeze at. We have to be down at some point. From all the turnover. Just a matter of when.

What's even more impressive than winning back to championships is you did it with 2 different coaches.
