UT hoops games on television
At least five men's games (conference games) will be on TV. Here's a link.

Thanks for the link about the women's games. Just changed the thread title to make it accurate.

Is this replacing the games on STO? I hope not, but I fear they are.

Yes. But STO is owned by FOX now, who has shown no interest in showing MAC anything in Ohio, as Fox Sports Ohio dropped MAC games long ago. (Although I think STO still shows an Akron Zips coaches show, but am guessing that contract dates prior to the FOX acquisition.)

Last week I believe STO was showing SEC volleyball. So, if Fox thinks that is a better sell to Ohio viewers than MAC football/basketball, I say good riddance.

It would not surprise me to see STO and FSO merged into 1 channel in the future.

The article says that all of the games on the Time Warner Sports Channel will be available on ESPN3. It also says that they are going to work with Buckeye Cable System to try to air the games on BCSN. People without Time Warner Cable should still be able to watch the games. [/align]

Got a call today pushing season tix. Premium seats that are usually $120 are going for $55, or thereabouts. These are in sections 104 and another section that eludes me. Guy said they really want to pack the lower bowl. Our home schedule sucks again with only six? OOC home games but the Detroit tournament gives us a nearby shot at three more.

I wonder how many "crowd" shots they will take in Ypsilanti. Maybe they'll go to Ypsilanti High on Friday night the night before the EMU games and get some video of those crowds. You can't show what's not there.
