People were trying to label this protest as an honorable opportunity for people to stand their ground against tyranny, but even the people who organized the event in the first place were pissed off about being used as political pawns.

There is a twitter feed from obama wishing a happy whatever to muslims, and a picture showing him on his knees so I assume that's what he was talking about. Nobody is going to blatantly be racist towards any black person, that would be political suicide.
