Sorry gents, but Baylor would utterly destroy us and I want no part of them....EIU on steroids, they were averaging about 70pts a game until they stumbled a bit against Kansas State, but they are a defensive nightmare

Lets wait and see how Baylor does against good competition, they have yet to play a good team yet. Baylor wont see a BCS bowl.

Big 12 is wide open. No dominant team like in other conferences but I want no part of Baylor. None whatsoever. Too many playmakers. We matchup a lot better against an OU or Texas compared to Baylor.

FYI - Babers (EIU's coach) coached with Art Briles at Baylor.

Tuesday night football already. La-Lafayette vs. WKU. 2 teams the pundits have projected us playing in go daddy.

Lord help us, please make us avoid these teams!

They were just talking about how LA-Laff is building new faculties and expanding its stadium by adding another deck if seating.

The rendering was real nice. Especially for a Sun Belt school.

You keep saying Baylor hasn't played anyone which implies you think NIU's defense is "good competition". Have you watched any NIU games this year.? Specifically, our pass D vs any semi proficient QB?

The D has put things together the past few weeks and is improving, that is hard to argue against. I really really think the addition of Wells and him getting some stamina back is really trickling down and improving the entire defense. The D is the only reason we beat Akron. If we get that defensive effort with our normal offense, NIU will be a tough team to beat.

EIU's coach came from Baylor. That's the offense they run.

Sorry, Rak. I missed that you already said this.

Since you bring up the competition Baylor has played, what are the records of the last three teams NIU has played where you say "the D has put things together"? 4-16 combined.

I guess I was not really out on a crusade to say NIU is exactly at the Baylor level, my only point was let's not annoit Baylor as unbeatable until they play a good team.
