Most of the realignment scenarios you put out have about as much validity. So what's the problem?
Does it only count when you spout off?
When I talk about realignment scenarios, they are discussions about possibilities.
When you label a thread "Pick the Upsets" and then you try to claim that FSU beating Miami would be an upset, then yes there is a very big difference.
Nice try though. Feel free to go ahead with such a farce so that you can think yourself better at picking upsets because you picked FSU beating Miami, Bit. Congrats on having such great foresight.
All I said was that I'm out. Guess that makes you bitter and angry?
In regards to my talk of possibilities. I got Maryland and was very adamant about it throughout the whole process.
Atleast I am not grabbing onto things like Luck being the possible AD at Texas and outright stating that it means realignment is over. Yeah, great one there genius.
He1nous, at the very beginning of the thread for the Clemson vs Florida State game we covered the fact that between unbeatens upset did not apply and you simply picked the winner. It was right there from the get go and you are free to take FSU if you would like, or not.
He isn't very keen on reading the whole thread...
As for my quote about realignment being over, it was made with tongue firmly planted in cheek. I know nobody wants to believe that. They'll believe whatever they want to believe, all evidence to the contrary not withstanding...
And as far as Maryland and Rutgers joining the B1G, you'd have to be an idiot not to foresee that coming. Penn State has been very vocal about wanting more eastern schools in the conference. It was either satisfy that demand, or lose Penn State to the ACC, where all their old rivals exist now...
Hey, you are the one who made the overly simplified statement about me. I simply pointed out how you were obviously wrong.
I also stated during my theories of possibilities that if anything ceased movement from the ACC it would be cultural complications, both for movements to the Big Ten and for movements to the SEC.
So far I have been pretty spot on thanks to FOIA releases from UNC.
You can go ahead and say it was all "tongue in cheek" in attempt to backtrack but simple fact is that once again you took the opportunity to jump upon me once again.
The fact that you think Luck moving to Texas means no more movement happens all in itself, that says enough about you seeing only what you want to see. That isn't the case here. I state that it is possible that we have more movement and that is it. You are looking for anything and everything you can possibly find to push the viability of the Big 12. Have at it but don't project your own issue upon others. Most of us in these kind of discussions are fine either way.
The evidence does not point out that realignment is over. Once again you are trying to create your own reality with these statements. Turns out you really aren't all that different from the folks over on the WVU Scout Board after all.
As to reading the rest of the thread, I came in late. You can run an upset picking thread any way you like but stating that picking FSU over Miami is successfully picking an upset is just a farce, any way you try to package it guys.
That is not a personal attack, that's just how I see it so I will just take my perfect score and walk on. Have fun.
