Nice win Wave fans. Looks like you guys have really turned it around w/ the new regime down there, hope you keep it up, we've all had our ups and downs and just goes to show how important the right people at the helm are for all our schools. We're all one good hire from prominence and one bad one from the dregs.

Agreed, but even the crappy ones get paid, often setting programs back a minimum of 4-5 yrs., which stinks. Looks like you guys have a keeper.

Coach Johnson is definitely a "keeper". He's done a tremendous job with Tulane and largely because of him, they will be a team to watch going forward. Congrats Wave. 01-lauramac2

Great win Tulane. I had the game vs UTSA in the Dome marked as a possible win pre season. Pretty sure we get our asses kicked now.

Great win Tulane! I'd love for the final game of the season to be for the West championship.

Ned Low is a great contributor to this site, and he supports a great university. If I had known in advance that Tulane's regular QB was going to sit this one out, I would've joined NL in his prediction for this game. I am honestly stunned at how well Powell played today -- like night-and-day compared with last year.

I thought even before the season started that Tulane was on track for 6-6 and a minor postseason game like New Orleans Bowl. There is still a good chance we wind up there. But for the first time, I'm now starting to believe that this Green Wave team is capable of much bigger and better things than I gave it credit for. We shall see.
