This is a great suggestion. It's hard to listen to Musberger swinging from UT's nuts. Get the homer radio call and watch it on TV, and that should improve the experience.

Only Fox is worse.

It's not even that. I hate watching a game on ABC period. Constant stats being flashed on the screen. Missing the beginning of plays because they have to constantly go "downstairs for an update." Up close camera angles where you can't even see the play.

Then the constant politicking from Musberger. Acting like every play is some kind of controversy.

Just shut up and show the damn game.

I agree. They are too active. They also suck when it comes to replaying a lot of the time. I'd rather see a replay of the big play than watch the kid walk off the field and drink some water.

Mussberger should have been put out to pasture 15 years ago, dude is really hard to listen to.

I love Musburger. Think he's the best drunk analyst going.

We called him "Burnt Cheeseburger" back in 1980. He's a Big 10 homer; he truly thinks the worst Big 10 school is better than any other school from any other conference. He's the only announcer that forces me to turn the sound off.

Hear of Dixie hit the nail on the head. It's a combination of ABC having too much crap going on during the game. It's almost like you are watching the ABC show(complete with their ads, trivia questions and side bar discussion) the game is secondary.

I cannot even begin to list all the things about Musburger that annoy me.
