Volleyball
The team had its biggest victory since the sport was invented. They beat #18 Ohio at kent on Thursday. A very nice win. It would really be good to see this team finally be successful.

RE: Volleyball
And the KSU Women's Volleyball team didn't follow up their huge win @ home vs Ohio U with a letdown, instead they swept the CMU Chippewas @ Mt Pleasant MI.

Congrats to the girls/coaching staff. Keep it up!

RE: Volleyball
Looks like KSU took the 1st set, 25-21, but EMU took the 2nd set 25-21, so tied @ 1 after 2 sets.

KSU has to win tonight to go to the MAC Volleyball Tournament.

Here is the link to live stats if you would like to follow along: http://www.sidearmstats.com/kent/wvball/

Good luck ladies.

RE: Volleyball
eMU won the last two sets 25-7 and 25-15. Not even close. That early conference victory against Ohio was a real fluke. As usual a less than average team. Other than track and golf womens sports are down. Even gymnastics can't beat CMU which is their only competition. No points in the directors cup for fall sports this year. Not that unusual but I was hoping for a bonus like football was last year. No such luck.

RE: Volleyball
According to the Kent website the team plays Ohio in the MAC Tournament on Friday. On the bright side of things the team has doubled their wins from last year both in conference and out, they did sweep Akron which is always a plus in any sport, and the team only loses 2 seniors. Have to hope that the team can continue the upward trend as Gromala keeps getting his recruits.

RE: Volleyball
KSU was never a consideration for Bowser as she has always wanted to go to school outside of NE Ohio.
