Hey!! I resemble that remark!!

Athletics sells out the stadium (i.e., no tickets available), but the attendance figure (< 24K) represents actual butts in seats. Thus, there were a few hundred for the EIU game who had tickets but did not attend. I would expect the same tomorrow unless they oversell on the GA side.

My understanding is the difference between 24K and the announced attendance was a mixture of no shows and season tickets the AD was holding out in the hopes of selling.

There was about 2 full rows worth of empty seats by me which are comp tickets to recruits and their parents.

I dont know if they are showing up and hanging out for the pregame but just not going to the game or if they are not showing up all together.

No doubt that those tickets are not available to sell.

Does anybody know if we can bring in seatback chairs to the stadium? I know they rent them, but somebody I know already has some.
