Well, we really are playing a bad team this week......boy, have I heard that before!!! We are 98th in the rankings and UTEP is actually below us.....I'm sure their fans are about as happy as ours are.......this definitely is not a match up of powerhouses, more like two guys fighting with wet noodles!!! If CG was ever going to have a decent game this should be it but it's still a road game. My prediction for this week is a 24-24 tie........Tulsa is a 2 pt better team in my opinion but that gets taken away by being a road game. They play to a tie and after 5 OT's and no one has scored both teams agree to give up and accept the tie!!!!!!!

Tulsa has been awful on the road this season. TU has been blown out every road game so far. With how bad Tulsa has been on the road, I would give UTEP a two point edge. LOL This is a battle of who has the better pillow. (Pillow fight)

UTEP is supposed to be terrible on defense, especially against the run. We are still a 10 point favorite.

I think we win this game because of our rushing attack. I also think Coach B will say we've "turned the corner" after this win. He will say Cody played better, just like he said last week.

BTW, Cody's first half against Rice was the worst half of QB play I've ever seen by a TU QB in person & yet Coach B actually said "Cody played better last week."!!!

This UTEP win, against the worst defense we've faced all season, will be "fool's gold" & we will keep things the same on offense & continue to suck. Hopefully our young defense will continue to improve.

Yes, I just can't figure how BB cannot see the obvious. I think he just sees things from the point of view that if CG is criticised, its a criticism of his coaching. The fans are (in this case) the objective observers just seeing that we need to have better production on the field of play from that position.

I still think a HC should never coach QBs or coordinate an offense at this level primarily because he cannot fire himself from those positions and doesn't have time to correct the mechanical problems of the most important offensive player on the field. IMO.
