Pitt v VT
After a weekend of watching the overuse of glossy/metallic helmets it's time to get ready for another game week. Definitely judgement week, if you asked me. I'm so pumped for this one, just wished I had tickets and the time to go to the game. I think this is the week that the nation KNOWS about Tyler Boyd. I think they somewhat know who he is, but he's going to shine this week on a semi-national stage. I gotta find a place to watch-being that I don't have ESPNU.

Key to the game is our offense against their defense. I think VT's ineptness on O will help our D out a ton, much like last season. Get a couple of TO's early and roll.

RE: Pitt v VT
I don't know what to think about this game because I didn't really see VT this year. I know what I think from our perspective, though, and unfortunately it's just that this team isn't very good.

It's been nice that we've been able to rebound after a tough loss at FSU. Although the way the defense plays at times is downright scary, it seems that the offense is good enough to keep us in most of the games we've played. It was a little scary to beat Virginia by such a small margin despite the fact that they couldn't do anything on offense.

A win this week would be great. I'm really looking forward to play GT although I'm a little nervous they may still be running on us around this time next year.

VT is good this year. I think Pitt might be better but I can't honestly say for sure. Toss-up? Panthers need to come to play.

RE: Pitt v VT
Thoughts? Game came down to the fact that for the 2nd straight game, Pitt's OL couldn't handle the opposing teams DL. VT didn't gift the panthers TOs (like UVa) so Pitt was basically shut out.

The Panthers *should* get to 5-2 for the GT game. Let's see where it goes from there. As I said, get to 6 regular season wins with an outisde shot at 7, goto the bowl game and build from there.
