Prayers needed for Billy Free and his family
The southern miss family lost more than a game yesterday. A true Icon of our school went to be with the lord after a very lengthy illness.

Billy's grandfather Larry "doc" Harrington passed away yesterday. He served as tennis coach and head athletic trainer for nearly 35 years.

Doc will be missed.

Thank you so much for the kind words, he meant so much to so many people and we will certainly miss his stories and his kindness. He gave his life to Southern Miss and remained a loyal Golden Eagle to the end. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers, it is truly appreciated.

Really hate to hear that. Doc was Southern Miss and a class act. Prayers for you and your family Billy.
