Better rankings than I saw previous weeks. I think Louisville is underrated and surprised to see Rutgers make the cut.

I think Louisville is overrated and would probably move them to #20, I'd move Ohio State and Florida State to the top 5, Northwestern to the top 10 and Fresno in the top 20.

I think you need more SEC teams on the list. I like how you have Florida at 12 and Miami at 15, even though Miami is undefeated and already beat Florida.
Paul Finebaum is that you?

Of course you would...07-coffee3

How about instead of worrying about Louisville, you go back to figuring out how in the hell you lost to a terrible South Florida team this year?

Louisville is Top 10 unless and until they lose a game so I think you're underrating them here. Rutgers is not a Top 25 team. We're probably more like #35 when all is said and done, but I appreciate your vote of confidence.

RE: My Top 25 after Week 6
I do a computer rating and thought you ACC fans would get a kick out of the ratings for this week
1 Florida St
2 Alabama
3 Clemson
4 Baylor
5 Stanford
6 Oregon
7 Georgia
8 Oklahoma
9 LSU
10 Missouri
11 Miami
12 UCLA
13 Washington
14 Ohio St
15 Michigan

Ohio St- their schedule is SO bad right now- opponents are only 9-10 and their opponents opponents are an incredible 22-66 right now. And, what's bad is they've played the meat of the schedule

for those that say what about Alabama? Their opponents right now are 10-7 and opponents opponents are 28-56. While not great, still light years ahead of Ohio St. And long term- Alabama still has LSU and I'll go ahead and say it Auburn to add end of the season now. Oh, and the SEC title game opponent.

RE: My Top 25 after Week 6
one point about Louisville- right now their schedule has been putrid. opponents are 5-12 right now. opponents opponents are 31-52.

however, next 2 opponents are Rutgers and UCF. Both are 4-1. So I would say look at where Louisville is in the computers in 2 weeks(the initial BCS release). That will likely be their high point for the season. Why? Tehir opponents after that- USF, UConn, Houston, Memphis, and Cincy. Louisville's hope now is that Houston continues to win. A HUGE game for Louisville actually will be on the 19th when Houston faces BYU.

Yup, our schedule sucks. We tried to upgrade it. Hell, ESPN tried to upgrade it. No takers. It is what it is.

Georgia #5? Nearly lost to Tennessee. They should drop.

Nearly losing a game to a long time conference rival means nothing. Don't you know that by now? Anything can happen in a rivalry game, as we've seen proven time and time again...

Right on with that. West Virginia was going to play for the BCSNCG in 2007 until 2-9 Pittsburgh took them out in the final game of the season... Poor Neers...

Agree and Louisville's schedule reflects this, Bit. While Central Florida is not a Rival from games played, we hate each other as fan bases. 04-cheers

Rutgers
Central Florida
South Florida (A)
Connecticut (A)
Houston
Memphis
Cincinnati (A)

Unlike Alabama, WVU only gets one chance at their rival. The Big East didn't have a bunch of coaches voting their conference mates higher than they should be ranked, and way undervaluing teams from rival conferences, like SEC coaches always do...

IMO Alabama shouldn't have gotten a chance for a rematch with LSU in the 2012 BCS Championship game. It should have been one conference champion against another, and not a conference champ against a team they had already defeated...

that was as much though when WV lost. lost the last night of the season. If Alabama had lost to LSU last night of the season- they aren't playing in the title game.

RE: My Top 25 after Week 6
1....The only rankings that currently matter are the AP & Coaches Polls in which both have Louisville @ #8.

2...After 20 October 2013 the only ranking that will matter is the BCS Rankings...and only to determine by the 1st Sunday in December who is #1 & #2.

Until then the only thing Louisville and the others in AQ Leagues can control is winning their conference games and securing that AQ Bid...07-coffee3
