Being 4-2 right now is fine(although I hoped it would be 5-1). The Dukes can only afford to lose 2 more or else none of us will have anything to root fer past Nov. 23.
Towson is going to kick our ass!
Towson will? Really? When was the last time an FCS team "kicked our ass"?
You'll find beatings of 2+ scores are few and far between in Mickey's tenure. Face it, we play up to the level, or down to the level, of the teams we face.
I agree, but Villanova pretty much dominated us last year.
I agree. And just because the beatings are rare doesn't mean Towson won't beat us down. But for a long time, people always predict we get smoked by some teams and it rarely happens.
Having said that, I think we are a 7-4 team at best this year and 5-6 at worst.
Can you count to 12?

Where the hell did I say "2+ scores," Dolley? Our football team has issues. OK, you can't see them. Fine.

I don't think anyone would argue it's not a concern especially the players and coaches, we're just fans, they're busting their asses. haha
But we just have waaaaay too many bridge jumpers whenever the other team gets a freaking first down or is able to actually score.
I'm insulted that you see it that way, that you dismiss the critical analysis some here have offered simply because we won. We beat a high school team for crying out loud! I see many chinks in our armor and it all leads to the Mick. I'm sad that you can't see this.
uhhhh, critical analysis is that we beat a High school team? Why wouldn't anyone dismiss that ridiculousness? We beat the crap out of that team, as good a margin as 'Bama against fake GSU, and they were favored by a whole lot more, so Alabama will get their asses kicked by proxy?
C'mon, of ALL people you understand this **** as well as anyone, especially when it involves easily distracted 18-22 year old young men. Play up, play down, none of this should suprise any of us.
See McMaryland today and OSU, just kicking ass.

I AM NOT bitching for the sake of bitching! I see a team with a ton of talent not performing at the level they are capable of. We beat a high school team today. Hooray! GOOD TEAMS ARE GOING TO KICK OUR ASS! Coaching!
Damn, you could apply your bitchfest to pretty much every team in the country. Honestly you have no idea WTF you're talking about half the time.
OK, genius, just exactly where in that statement do I not know what I am talking about? Very curious about that.

uhhhh, the "high school" comment was not critical analysis. It was a figure of speech, meant to indicate that Albany is not a very good football team. Do you doubt this?
Here's some critical analysis for you. Akron has won a single game all season and will likely end the season with that one win. Guess who they beat. Delaware beat us. We could only manage scoring 22 points against them. Maine yesterday rolled up over 600 yards of offense on the chickens and 62 points.
There are some very good football teams in the CAA this year and we do not appear to be one of them, in spite of some tremendously talented individuals. We should be better than we are with the talent level we have.

Of course I looked at who they play. Akron's best chance for a win is against Miami (Ohio) and possibly UMass. I think both of those teams are better than Akron, but even if the gods are smiling and Akron somehow pulls off a win and they go 2-10, are you saying we should be proud of not being the only team the perennial MAC doormat has beaten this year?

I don't think it's a problem that two ladies went to see an art show in the third quarter of a blowout win against a team no one ever heard of. I thank those ladies for showing up and supporting their school for the first half even if they aren't big football fans.
