Roku is great, but it doesn't have an ESPN app. I use my Xbox 360 for the ESPN3 games and it looks great.

From a AV geek: Roku has more apps but if you are already invested in Ipad/Iphone Apple Tv is the way to go.

If your laptop has an HDMI output (most after 2009 do) you can simply connect to TV thru HDMI cable and watch stream of game (assuming you have a carrier that is ESPN3 authorized). I prefer Apple TV-get captions and better picture quality than laptop streaming. BTW: Do not buy expensive HDMI connectors (such as Monster-waste of money); get a ethernet high speed cable. I pay about $6 each from Amazon for mine.

I've been able to watch 2 out of 3 of the games via ESPN3. Will do the same for UCF and then the Houston match is on ESPNews

I think Apple neglected their streaming box for awhile but they are making efforts to improve it. The bottom line is streaming and a la carte choices is the future of TV imho and ROKU, Apple, Boxsee, etc....are all in the mix. I use the twonky app to stream ESPN to my ROKU so it's very easy. I use both my Ipad and Samsung phone without any problems.

Hulu offers a wide variety of TV shows. Click the link to see all they offer.

Agreed. If your thing is TV then Hulu Plus is a must. There are some decnet movies on there too. Many shows are also available on the network websites the day after airing so you can stream that way too.

Don't you have to have ESPN3 on your cable that you pay for before it will stream? or is it included in xbox live subscription? I have xbox live and cable internet only, no cable tv. I'm a movie nut and watch netflix, but it would be great to get the games on ESPN3 without having to pay for cable tv.

XBMC (free) on a laptop with HDMI is lovely...

and if you are willing to read can do a ton more.

If you have Comcast internet you get ESPN3.
