You can always go back to C-USA and be in a league that was usually ranked around 9th....05-nono

I think this is ranking only the current BCS conferences so the others are not in. After next year, it will be curious to see if the rank all or just the P5.

RE: Good Ranking News for the AAC
Pretty sure this is just ranking BCS AQ conferences so we're #6 out of 6 conferences. Congrats guys!

The top of the AAC looks better than the top of the other G5 conferences, but the bottom of the AAC looks like an FCS conference.

Unreal...

They keep touting up Stanford, and Washington....If Stanford would play Georgia, or even Florida...they'd throttle the Cardinal...

The only SEC team in the Pac 12 is Oregon...plain and simple.

UL is better than any team in the Pac. Oregon has to prove it. Beating the worst Utk team ever doesn't mean.jack

Half the SEC is ranked, with four in the top 10 alone, Pac has 5 teams total ranked, this list seems suspect.

This is not your old SEC. Defensively, the 2007 to 2012 versions would destroy the 2013 version. With the exception of possibly Alabama, the SEC is overrated as THE dominant conference. May the win another NC? Perhaps, but don't bet your house on it.

Add Clemson beating Georgia, it was no fluke, Clemson can compete with any SEC team. Also Florida State, who can play a little better D then A&M while having a QB as good as any SEC QB.

My BCS Conference Comparison says the same thing. The PAC is playing well right now.

BAHAHAHAHA

Oregon would roll up 80 on UL if they wanted to.

Right... your obsession with hating on all things UofL is laughable. While I'm sure UofL is not the top defense in the country, they are the top scoring defense in the country.

I know the schedule is bad thus far, but it's mentioned for perspective. The defense is pretty good. Oregon scores 60 a game through 4 contests, with opponents including a FCS, Cal (124th in scoring D), Tenn (74th in scoring D), & UVA (48th against)... but they'll roll UofL for that many.

Keep dreaming.

Oregon would hang about 35 on UL. With that said, I think UL could go for 25-35 points themselves and make it a game.

UL has a legitimate offense that can hold onto the ball and take a little bit of the air out of Oregon's game plan.

The race for "sixth best" became irrelevant when we began talking about the "Power 5" last year.... Being the "6th Best football conference" is as relevant as being "11th Best" right now.
