Stats from Purdue's perspective
Coworker of mine just sent me this, not sure where he pulled it from. He is a Purdue grad.

The 31-point setback to a Mid-American Conference school set reporters scurrying to check the record books. Here are some of Saturday’s dubious achievements for Purdue:

• Most points allowed in Ross-Ade Stadium. Previous mark was 52 by Notre Dame (1983) and Indiana (1988).

• Worst home loss since 1990 (Ohio State 42-2).

• Worst home nonconference loss since 1989 (Notre Dame 40-7).

• Worst loss to a Mid-American Conference school (previous was 14 points at Toledo, 1997). Average margin of defeat in nine losses to MAC teams before Saturday: 6.5.

• Worst homecoming loss since the 40-point setback to the Buckeyes.

They've lost to the MAC 9 times? Wow.

That data was posted in yesterday's Indy Star article on Boilermakers.

Won't happen.

Purdue won't be eager to play us again and especially not in DeKalb.

I hope Purdue can recover from this loss, get their act together, and face Iowa in the B1G Championship game. It's still mathematically possible, if Purdue can beat Ohio State.

He's wearing it how lots of us in the Army wore our patrol caps.

Its called a ranger roll. The brim fold is more unique.

RE: Stats from Purdue's perspective
Even with the reaction to the first question directed at their starting QB, I think he should be commended on how he was able to keep his composure during the press conference. I know if I were in that position, I would struggle to remain calm and not get pissed at the follow up question.

On a side note, it is pretty cool that we can shake up a B1G team like that!
