It's been a hobby/project of mine to gather and map out data for D1 athletics. To the best of my knowledge a "logo map" has yet to be done. Here's what I have so far:

I know it's not much, but I think the MAC logos look pretty sick when mapped out. My plan is to expand this to all D1 schools, as well as having extra info to pull up (such as conference, enrollment, stadium capacities, etc.)

I'm long into the process of putting in points for each school. My general logic for placing the point is as follows:

1) Center of gridiron (outdoor), or center of complex (indoor)
2) If no football stadium on campus, then I used the basketball arena or other athletic venue

Nice. Maybe try smaller logos so when you zoom out you can see the Toledo / BG / EMU cluster a little better.

And what about an associate member map, and an expansion candidate map? Might be neat and will really help visualize..

As I said last summer, get rid of Toledo. They just get in the way of BG and EMU.

I'd say go with smaller logos FOR those schools that are close together ~ Akron/Kent and Toledo/BowlingClub/EMU.
