Pretty sure David Born was on the field to start the game. I noticed just before half time that he was not on the field and we did not spot him on the sideline or going into the tunnel. We did not see him after halftime, until the end of the game, when we saw him walking off the field in a track suit. Seemed to be walking fine and didn't have anything in a sling or iced. We never saw anyone go down with an injury and you wouldn't be able to miss him down. Anyone know what happened to the big fella and is he going to be back to protect Heinicke against Liberty?

Pain in his knee. They wanted to err on the side of caution.
Apparently he is fine.

He left the field before the end of the first half.... Didn't seem hurt, but with 4 min or so left in the half it was a surprise. I guess he never returned to the field.

Good to hear. We were very concerned. I thought possibly he had something questionable and they decided at the point better to pull him and rest him. Sure hope to see him back at 100% next week.

Does he play basketball?

My brother in law and I saw him walking off. Seemed to walk fine as he walked into locker room. And yes that is a huge guy!

He is a giant, but I doubt he is very quick. The real question is does David Washington play basketball?!
