7-7 in the first. UTSA is one of those expansion teams that's decided to be competitive from the very beginning.

We've given up a quick TD in each of our games so far. So I'm not worried yet.

Yup. I like the Ward package in the red zone. More options make it harder to defend even in a confined space.

Trevon Stewart has missed a lot key tackles this year. I expect more from him.

Not sure why so many running plays on this last drive. I am happy we still got the TD.

Same dumb thing we did with Temple and Rice some. Suddenly we get to the redzone and we decide to run it... Let O'Korn air it out. The kid isn't perfect but for a true frosh he's pretty damn good!

Ward was in the majority of the drive, so that's probably why.

If we can get a stop here before the half, we'll get the ball back and look to put them away.

Now a good time to get an interception and take over the game before half time.

Levine is such a p*ssy. 4th and 4, and he won't go for it or fake it? Worst case scenario, we don't get it, and UTSA has the ball at their own 30 with 10 seconds left. Oh no!

Very much agreed. At least go for the three points!

I hope the D comes out of the half with a renewed sense of urgency.

RE: Houston-UTSA thread
I think we're going to have some serious problems once we play a decent team. We're so vanilla. Base, zone defense. Run, run, pass on offense. If I have to see a draw for nothing on 2nd and short one more time, I'm going to projectile vomit. If we're playing UCF or UL, those drives are going to be 30-second 3 and out's.
