RE: NIU/Purdue Game Thread
#22 Notre Dame will probably lose (#14 Oklahoma)
#23 Wisconsin will probably lose (Ohio State)
#24 TexTech has a bye
#25 Fresno St will probably win (@Hawaii)
#26 Arizona St Toss-Up (USC at home)
#27 Georgia Tech LOST (Wake Forrest at home)
#28 Maryland has a bye
#29 UCF LOST (South Carolina at home; won't move much)
#30 Nebraska has a bye
#31 NIU WON BIG (@Purdue)

I would say there's not much running room. NIU will probably hit #27.

If they convincingly beat Kent State @KSU next week, and assuming KSU beats my WMU team solidly (which unfortunately is a decent possibility), NIU should break the seal of the Top-25.

Thanks for posting these, yeah 27 seems reasonable especially since now WVU has Okla St on the ropes, they will pass us too with a W. That is really a shocker to me.

Defense is still not good. What you had today were two bad Purdue qbs. Maybe the worst niu will see all year.

Yes we do but it certainly wont happen this week with Fresno playing one of the worst teams in the country. The date we should have circled is @ Wyoming. That could be a tough one for Fresno, although I know that writer said Wyoming would rise higher than any MAC team if they run the table.

I think the writer thought that with the SOS of the supposedly "deep" MWC it would still be enough for a 1 loss Wyoming team to stay ahead of the MAC. SJSU sure had a bad showing last night though, I don't know if they can keep up with Fresno in a shootout. I say its Wyoming or bust

I will take a Wyoming win, and risk it against a 1 loss MWC team....as opposed to an undefeated Fresno St
