A call for Intervention in US
Quote:The death toll from firearms in the US suggests that the country is gripped by civil war

Does that mean foreign nations will side with the "rebels" park aircraft carries off our coast and lob cruise missiles at us?

Quote:Talking to American friends, I always sense a kind of despair that the gun lobby is too powerful to challenge and that nothing will ever change. The same resignation was evident in President Obama's rather lifeless reaction to the Washington shooting last week. There is absolutely nothing he can do, which underscores the fact that America is in a jam and that international pressure may be one way of reducing the slaughter over the next generation. This has reached the point where it has ceased to be a domestic issue. The world cannot stand idly by.

So it's come to this?!? The world views Obama as impotent and ineffective so they must interview? 04-jawdrop What kind of "international pressure" trade embargo, armed rebels?

It may no longer be just Obama coming for our guns but the UN.

US "Rebellion" must be crushed.

No, the death toll from firearms in the US does not suggest that the country is gripped by civil war. That is an absurd hyperbolic commentary.

The problem we have is criminal gangs allowed to run essentially free by slipshod law enforcement. That is where the numbers are.

I'm ok with a Police State in Chicago because that is what the people have demanded.

However, in bum Egypt Tennessee can we get the gangs pigs off The Dragon please?

The article fails to mention the cities and states where one is most likely to be illegally killed by a gun.
