I haven't completely decided yet. Kind of afraid of the long drive back to Birmingham. I already have two tickets in section U, so I'll probably end up making it. If not, I'll post here to see if anyone still needs tickets.

Whoever is behind us for this game, either plan on standing up or move. This "down in front" business is stupid. It's a football game.

I understand your point, but with assigned seating (& not at Legion Field), the option to "move" isn't likely there. That being said, I agree with standing when it fits the game, but if you stand the entire game in front of my kids, I will sit you down... or you will move.

Hope some hot-headed 20-something has the same attitude with you when you're 62 years old bringing your grandchild to their first UAB game in the recently-expanded OCS.

Two of us will be there. Sad thing is that I have to be back Sunday morning- so it looks like a quick trip up and back for us.

Me + 1.5 (the 0.5 will be heading home with his grandma because he will be sleepy by the time the game gets going).

Will probably be checking out what the Nashville Zoo has to offer on Friday and maybe go downtown Friday night. Maybe eat somewhere kind of nice.

So from counting above it looks like we'll have at least 80 in the Blazertalk section. The interesting thing is that we'll be spread throughout the stadium instead of just in the visitors' section.

Maybe we can all sit in the same section. Doubt they will fill it up.

There will be plenty of room for us all to sit together. They generally don't draw well for non-SEC games unless it's MTSU.


BTW We may do the Zoo as well. It's very nice and worth the effort. Last time I did it was in August and it was scorching.

The Parthenon, the Hermitage, and anything Grand Ole Opry will be a good idea as well as referencing some of those food purveyors featured on the various Food Network TV shows that visit offerings in various cities.
