Congrats to mizzou. I really underestimated them this year, my survivor pick suffered from it.

I'll be pulling for Mizzou this weekend, and not for any selfish reason other than the fact I think UGA gets way too much credit for being merely mediocre at best.

Ehhh... not fair about UGA. With everyone healthy, they were a darn good team.

I'll buy that. Problem is, they aren't healthy.

You could also say that about last years's Mizzou team...

But UGA is going into this game without their 3 top players. That's going to make it hard for the Dawgs...

Just making a point that our QB was still broken, our RB was out for the year, and we lost our best OL at the beginning of the season. Actually I am predicting a Georgia win. They have back up. I just don't think Mizzou has reached the level of Georgia. I am just happy we are competitive this year.

I think the two are more or less evenly matched; Georgia probably has some size advantages.

The biggest factor in my eyes is where the game is being played. SEC teams all win at home.

I think Missouri is over the shock and awe of being in the SEC. 03-lmfao I think the Tigers saw monsters when Alabama took the field in Columbia last year. Just looking for a decent bowl bid this year. We actually played Georgia pretty tough until the end of the game... We lost a lot of SEC games in the last quarter. Depth I suspect. We will get better in that department.

I remember the Alabama Mizzou game. I'm still embarrassed our D linemen body slammed that RB, sorry.

The rain helped settle that game down and Mizzou played very well for a quarter. If they played like that from the start it would have been a game throughout but alas, God said "enough" after watching much of the first quarter.

If Mizzou makes this a game and pulls out a W I think they can lay claim to being respected on the field and as a member. If not, it will happen soon enough. It's one game that will cement it. It was Alabama for the Aggies and it will be Georgia or Florida for Mizzou.

It's now 10:36 central time on Saturday morning and in about 3 and a half to 4 hours this thread is either going to die, or get really really hot. Go Tigers!

I'm liking what I'm seeing. Mizzou 14 UGA 7

To display my ignorance of much regarding Mizzou, what do the fans yell at the games?

If Missouri loses this game it will be because they punted twice from the Georgia 36 instead of stepping on the gas. You can't beat Georgia by playing it close to the vest.

Start of the 4th quarter with Mizzou leading 28-20.

How many more weeks can the voters ignore Georgia struggling against lesser opponents?

You struggle for two weeks and you are overrated. You struggle every week and you're resilient.

True, I guess it's possible for a two-loss UGA to be ranked ahead of a few undefeated P5 programs.

Way to go Mizzou! Who would have thought that the Columbia Tigers would have been the first bowl eligible team for the SEC in 2013.
