Agreed. Every time I hear the AAC talk about UCF/USF being important to their conference I think that ours should be as important to the SBC.

Georgia Southern needs this rivalry! The winning will come in time. Georgia State needs their own stadium away from down town and the shadow of Booby Dodd. Making a game in the dome is like hiking Mt Everest. The trek is a bit much for those who would likely follow more closely if given a more convenient opportunity. Location, location, location.04-cheers
You lost me. We are nowhere near BDS and the Dome is two blocks from the center of campus. Why would we want a stadium away from downtown (our campus )?

That's what I was going to ask.

Plus, if going two blocks is a "trek" that "is a bit much for those who would likely follow more closely if given a more convenient opportunity," then how would getting our "own stadium away from down town," solve that issue?

State game to become a rivalry game that is competitive and full of emotion.

Could run Chrissy Hatcher out there and they would improve. But, that isn't saying much. Until the students get behind the team, it is going to be an uphill battle to say the least.

Dumb post. If you in FBS are relying on students as the source of your attendance you're screwed. You HAVE to have alumni and most importantly your surrounding community. The student section is for atmosphere but it is still only 8k to 12k.

Are you talking to us or Eagle Nation or Georgia State ? We have 5000 of campus now and that many near campus.
