Yep, at the game with my wife & son. Stayed at the team's hotel and the bar at the hotel after the game was just great. Most of the player's parents stayed there too and I really enjoyed partying with the player's dads, especially Nick Duffy's. What a three week stretch, as I was in Palatine for my Fremd high school reunion and came back from the party to hear that NIU had beaten Maryland!

And yes, the Bama fans were very congratulatory leaving the game.

I was at the game with my wife, we sat on the 45 yard line with some friend from AL who went to school there. I have to admit I was that crazy Huskie standing and cheering while BAma fans jeered and some times threatened. My favorite part was when the game ended and the rambunctious and upset Diehard Bama fans who surrounded me each took the opportunity to tell me we had a heck of a team that put up an incredible fight.... What a day...

After the win against Maryland, driving into Chicago from the burbs to catch the Alabama game at Joe's on Weed Street (one of the few bars in Chicago that had it).... just remember feeling so nervous ... because I thought we had a chance to win...

What a Saturday that was....

NIU > Bama
Toledo > Pittsburgh (with Larry Fitzgerald)
Marshall > Kansas State

Great day

I think so..I remember near the end of the 1st quarter as I was arriving to the bar.. the announcers were giddy..like they knew something special could happen

I thought I listened to the Iowa State game on the radio that year too, but I could not tell you what station it was on.

Great day

K-state was ranked #6 and Pitt was ranked too ... Three top 25 BCS wins for the MAC that day. Probably the best day ever for MAC football.

Also, Miami OH knocked off Colorado State and BG almost pulled off another upset against Ohio State.
