I went to the concert... was a good show, even if it did start 1.5 hours late. Jamie Foxx was hilarious. Charlie Wilson put on one hell of a show, only complaint was that he didnt play any GAP band stuff.
I guess the fact that that out of 9000 or so people there, my girlfriend and I being 2 out of only 20 or so white people has some significance, but not sure what it is.

Man Charlie Wilson always put on a helluva show. I thought Jill Scott did pretty well but it wasn’t her best show. I thought the whole event was pretty nice and I was blown away by the amount of stars that came in for the weekend. My family and I also attended church services at the 16th Street Baptist Church which is my family's home church and many of them still attend there. I've never had the strength to watch the Four Little Girls documentary due to the fact that my family including my mother (who was 3-years old at the time) was at church that day.

The first, the last and most of the songs in the middle were Gap Band songs.

Jill got the raw end of the deal. The concert starting an hour and a half late and Charlie's high energy performance didn't help Jill at all. She didn't hit the stage until 11 pm. Couple that with her laid back music, people were just ready to go home.

Well, specifically, I wanted him to sing drop a bomb on me, but probably not appropriate for the venue now that i think about it.
