UTSA teams up with the Alamo Bowl

Another great example of UTSA marketing like crazy to put butts in the stands. I'm hoping for a solid turn out against UH.

I applaud all that UTSA is doing. I'm sure other schools in Texas (even some ex SWC schools) yall are kicking A$$ at the turnstiles will eventually benefit from the example your school has set for all.

See yall in November at Apogee.04-cheers

RE: UTSA teams up with the Alamo Bowl
Gotta give credit where it's due, UTSA has done one hell of a job promoting their team in these last few years. Granted, it helps when there's an NFL-caliber stadium in your city, a sizable football-crazy fanbase without a pro team, and a vibrant downtown area nearby, but it's still very impressive after you factor that in. Sports marketing college classes around the country should study what you're doing in San Antonio.

Nice marketing. I hope it pays off for y'all. Now see if you can pressure them into adding C-USA as a tie to the Alamo Bowl.

Haha I wish. The Alamo Bowl has turned into a semi tier 1 bowl. No way they are giving up B12 #1 vs PAC-12 #1.

I'm most excited that the Alamo Bowl committee views UTSA as a partner and not a competitor. Bringing big time college football to San Antonio is really a win win for everyone involved.

It feels good having a College team to call our own. Birds up!

Actually ordered this package today. Since I'm a UTSA season ticket holder I plan on giving the UH game tickets to some co-workers. Hopefully they get hooked and buy season tickets

....or even a 2'nd bowl game in SA, a la the New Orleans Bowl? As a 6'th generation Texan and history buff, SA is a great destination city.

We are going to have to eventually have those kind of bowls such as the NO's Bowl as the P5 guys continue trying to push we G5'ers out of the airplane and without our parachutes to boot!

GMG!
