We are a very young team that is using a lot of freshmen. They will take their lumps but this is going to be a competitive team come the middle of the season. Be patient.

We are the second youngest team in the country. We have 9 freshman or sophomore starters.

I can't be to judgemental of teams like ours because they are young and talented and the funny thing is memphis has been in position down the wire to win both games. We just need one win to start a reaction.

it would be really nice to have a competitive football team that at least wins as many games as they lose...and I believe our fan base has made it clear we will show up with crowds of 40,000+ to watch decent football.

well, Memphis got them in CUSA so they owe us.

Memphis will benefit a great deal by being in this Conference. It will get more national pub than cusa and it is a league they will be able to compete against in a couple years.

TBH, I'm not that unhappy with our season so far. I just want to be competitive after 3 years of getting housed every week. We've gone deep into the 4th in both games with a chance to win. If we keep improving the way we have the last 14 games then the wins will come.

Doesn't matter, anything with Memphis on it and this board will bash the **** out of it, that's all the board is good for. Honestly, I'm surprised it lasted nine posts before the knuckledraggers found it, I thought guys like Rath had alerts on their phones for Memphis threads.

Actually, UCF (along with SMU and Houston) were the former CUSA teams that were already invited to join the Big East back in Dec 2011...and all 3 voted in Feb 2012 to invite Memphis to join them in the Big East.

For some reason...Memphis fans have blocked out the fact that UCF (along with SMU and Houston) were all invited to join the Big East Conf well before Memphis was given an invite some 2 months later.
