Even with the close game at Michigan, the Zips are going off as home dogs to Louisiana-Lafayette. Started at +6, now up to +8. We may have a letdown after yesterday's big game just as UM did after ND, but I still don't see this being anything other than a close hard-fought battle.
Well, the La-La game was about as expected, an improving Zips squad hanging tough with a good opponent. We need Hirschman to get healthy and back on the field. We need a coach that can have the kickoff receiving team ready for all possibilities: short kickoffs, squib kicks, onside kicks, etc...we are being victimized by the poor special teams coaching. Gentlemen, this is your chosen profession and it's not rocket science.
