Per the DNR today Matthews said Latney will only miss 1 to 2 weeks. That seems amazing to me for a dislocated knee cap. Anyway this will probably keep us from burning a redshirt ( just speculation on my part ). Would you let lambert fill in until Latney returns?

On multiple occasions in the past we've seen MM say a player was going to be out a few weeks and its turned out to be a month or more or even the whole season. I'll take that 1-2 weeks with a grain of salt.

That's what worries me about DeAndre Smith. He had a somewhat under the radar injury to his Achilles tendon area. No real timetable other than he missed half of the Akron game, the St. Franks game and as of Mondays presser- not looking good for this week. He and Daniel Brown really complement each other well in our passing game and I hope this isn't one of those frustrating lengthy recoveries like in years past.
