Fresno St-Colorado game postponed by flooding
The football game between Fresno State and Colorado in Boulder, Colo., was postponed on Friday because of flooding that's devastating the state.
The teams were scheduled to play Saturday at Folsom Field. No makeup date has been announced.
''Even though the weather is improving, Boulder is still designated as a national emergency site,'' Chancellor Philip DiStefano said in a statement. ''Our community is hurting. ... This is not an appropriate time for us to hold a game that would put pressure on the community, both in terms of security/emergency personnel, but also in diverting attention from people in need.''

Can they use another schools (i e Air Force or Colorado St's) stadium? Or are their locations also flooded?

its impossible to get from point A to point B in the boulder county area right now. so moving a fanbase or a team is pretty challenging if not impossible. people have a lot to deal with right now thats more important than a football game, and that includes the football team who had to relocate some players because their homes were flooded.
colorado looked like they finally had their s*** together and were playing some good football. I really hoped they dont get derailed by this. colorado's practice field is right next to boulder creek and in one of the worst hit spots. their practice field and the equipment with it is most likely gone for the season so im not sure what they are gonna do about that.
the football stadium is right next to the creek as well (but on higher ground). the stadium is fine but the damage to the surrounding area's will cause some pretty big logistical issues with crowd placement. a lot of the paths that lead people to the stadium as well as tailgating area's are damaged.
im sure every hotel is going to be booked for the next few months so good luck to any fans who are not from the immediate area trying to catch a CU game.
our next home game is oct. 2nd where we have oregon (who could come in as the #1 ranked team) and im not sure the city will be ready for that.

If area is not ready by Oregon game, I suspect they will try to use that.

i think the next couple of CU home games will be played in denver. too many issues with having a game in boulder in the foreseeable future
