I have no doubt this Troy team is better. Lose the turnovers and we would have probably won last night.
After the game the players were not happy. They are pretty pissed. Hope they take that anger out on MSU next week...
That said I can see this Troy team being top 3 in the conference if they play like I know they can now.
Very impressed with Troy last night. As always, hard hitting and tough. Great receivers and both QBs are very good. stAte is lucky to get a win in that game. For us, we now move on to a critical non-conference match up with Memphis. (one of the 2 road wins we need to have a sucessful season in my opinion) You guys will have a tougher game at MSU, but I won't be surprised to see Troy with a 7-5 or better record this year.
Mississippi State will have their hand full with that offense.
I don't think Mississippi State's offense has a big edge on Troy's Defense, so, methinks Troy corrects mistakes from this game and causes coach MULLETT a new ulcer. (It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.)

MSU has a tough game tomorrow against AUBURN....I think they get beat down tomorrow and then have to deal with us next week. I smell an upset!
