Lack of Duke Dog at Games?
Maybe it is because I am watching games now with young kids who constantly ask for Duke Dog, but in my opinion, he has been MIA on the alumni side.

Anyone else notice this?

He was in Akron.

Bigger stadiums means less one on ones with the mascott.

I didn't see him in the hood game one either.

I understand when we had a small stadium is wasnt uncommon to see the Duke Dog but with our new larger stadium, I wouldnt expect to see him much at all. I dont even think about it anymore. When I have gone to UVA and ECU games, I dont expect to see their mascot just walking around and greeting people. I dont think its a lack of Duke Dog. I think our little JMU is just growing up.

It would be cool if there was some sort of Duke Dog meet and greet area that you could bring the kids to before the game. Kind of like the character meeting spots at Disney. Then when Duke Dog got tired, he could go take a one minute "break" and come right back out (obviously switching people).

They already have this. He is usually out on Goodwin field at the family fun area before the games.

Thanks, we have tried the family area twice before and have not seen him. Perhaps we were just unlucky and went at break time both tries...
