It'll hurt less if you just admit to yourselves what you are.

What we are?

Ohio's first university with thousands of proud alumni sick of being lumped with directional and city commuter colleges?

Holy crap, get over yourself hahaha wow. Until you win anything in this "commuter conference", its probably best to be silent.

Winning doesn't change what we are.

Only one school can claim to be the oldest in the Northwest Territory. Meanwhile, only 3 MAC schools: Ohio, Miami and UMass can claim to be non-directionals, non-schools named after cities past their prime and also non-schools named after brothers who bought a bankrupt directional. (just when Ball State fans thought they had escaped my reign of terror Fuel To The Fire)

Now, in select cases I do believe that a zebra may be able to change his stripes. I look forward to officially adding New York State to the list of legitimacy.

At least. But, it would have meant we beat NIU to get there.

Who besides NIU and BG have a shot? Ball State? Ohio and Toledo have 0 chance.

Ball State and Ohio. Maybe Toledo. Not sure about them, but if they win out including potentially great wins over NIU and someone in the MACC...

Look at last year.. Kent got killed in game 1. Had they won the MACC they would've gone to the BCS. Ohio is in the same situation. IF they win out from here to the MACC they will be ranked. Heck.. Getting killed by Louisville will probably look better than Kent getting killed by Kentucky. This assumes they win out... I just want to beat Marshall this week!

Is there a MAC team that won't be ranked IF they win out from here? Probably not, because it means the MAC will have resume of beating LSU, Northwestern, Michigan (all ranked) and Penn State. But call me crazy- don't think that's going to happen.

Is there a MAC team that has a shot at winning out from here? NIU and BG. If both run the table, both have a good shot at being ranked. NIU slightly better than BG.

BTW, since accuracy is so important to you, Kent won its first game last year 41-21.

I also was factoring in likelihood of wins based on the spreads... I don't expect Ohio to win out but Ohio's chances of winning out in OOC are probably 40ish% while kents are probably 1%.

Well, only because you scheduled one tough OOC and two beatables that OU can barely beat.

Absolutely. At first I thought our joke scheduling was dumb. Now I think it is brilliant.

I'd rather go 4-0 against some poor D-1 teams than 1-3 playing murderers row. 4-0 gets the students rowdy and the fanbase growing. We can upgrade the schedule after students expect to win.

Our 2 "big" games the next 2 years? @Kentucky and @Minnesota...
I am all for that. The possibility of going undefeated gets the people going.

Cincinnati and Kansas coming into a renovated Peden later this decade. That is where the marbles are.

Kentucky and Minnesota are going to embarrass your sorry asses just like "beatable" Louisville did this year.

Ohio was lucky to escape North Texas. North Texas. At home. Marshall is going to beat you like a drum.

Not only is Ohio an embarrassment athletically but it is in the lower half of the conference academically. Ohio is where losers and stoners who have no business being in college go to get high for a few years before cleaning floors at the local Wendy's.

Who do you have in your upper half of the MAC academically?

Repeating yourself exposes you for the dullard that you are.

I am stronger, by every sense of the word, than you.

Who needs to suffer through Miami football when this is twice as entertaining?

Then why are you failing to hang with me effectively in the bowl discussions without maintaining a consistent focus on what the future holds?

Its funny because you can type on here....I've lectured at universities on college athletics and been asked about whether players should be paid.

The odds of you being stronger than me as a lecturer are about 0% I can't even find AD's and faculty leaders who are better at it than I am. I'm not talking about typing.....I'm talking about doing it in person.

Your stage show I'd imagine is weak. You sound like you're taking adderall when you post. My bet is you have social anxiety disorder.

Mizzou gets 10 wins. Florida gets 10. NIU and BG lose one game and that's Toledo. Toledo beats BG in rematch for MACC. Yes BCS chance at 11-2.

My point being its too early. If UNT wins out and so does Louisville, those games don't look too bad for OU. Anything could happen.
