We did execute our game plan on defense to defend the run well.

Since defending the pass wasn't in our game plan, you can't talk bad about it. (I added this sentence)

• Schedule for the coaches this weekend? Half the staff will hit the road tonight or in the morning recruiting. They'll have a light practice in tomorrow and the coordinators and head coach will see some local games Thursday and Friday night.

Hopefully they'll be recruiting football players
Although I am interested to see who they are visiting locally.

That's really the schedule? No wonder we can't win games. Can't recruit because facilities suck and can't win because they're out on the road instead of coaching.

Is this what is meant by vicious cycle?
