If someone lobbed some missiles into our local outhouse, like say Detroit, would we consider that an act of War?

When Assad says he will strike back at us if we do this, that is indeed declaring war if we do it.

Disagreeing with this IS seen by many to be racist. Why? I haven't the slightest clue, but it's the same way with Obamacare. My GF is taking Community Health classes in college right now and for the past couple weeks, they've been studying statistics on Obamacare, when they had a discussion on all of it last week, she said it basically became a race thing. I've told her it would be best to stay quiet when it gets to that point, so she did, and when the calss was over, she said one of the black guys came up to her (he also stayed quiet) and said, "I knew it'd come down to something stupid like that. Everything always has to be about race these days." It's ridiculous how divided we've become.

What hypotheticals? You proposed he "lob some missiles" at Assad, is that NOT an act of war? Would it be if the tables were turned? If not, why not?

You brought it up so either defend your statement or shut up about it.

Is is hypothetical that Assad gassed his own people? If so, what are the grounds for "lobbing some missiles" at the guy. If it's NOT hypothetical, then why would anyone not think it credible that he would do it again? Especially if he's already said he would if attacked? What then?
