UConn has no history in football, Memphis has a terrible history, and Cincy has not enough market appeal. None of them are getting a TV contract as an indy, but all of them have delusions of grandeur that they may some day join a P5 football conference, so they will stay where they are for now.

They all have other problems in that they are all public and all would be flight risks. None brings a great market. Memphis has poor academics and a history of scandal with their last 2 Final Fours both vacated for violations. Cincinnati is a total non-starter because they are in the same city as Xavier.

First of all, I don't see why we would want to join the BE period.
Our program likes to put our sports all into a conference, i don't think we split any single sport to another conference. With that said BE doesn't have football and we wouldn't want to split that.

The AAC is just as good or better then the BE in basketball. I can see the AAC sending more teams to the tourney then BE easily.

Now about the vacated issue, one was in the 80's and the other was 5 years ago and with a couch we don't even have anymore. Theres a lot of different things know and violations wont happen again ill promise you that.

The Big East has lost its appeal and looks more like the MVC than anything like it used too.

AHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHA
