No - I had never met him or knew much of anything about him. I didn't follow wrestling at the HS level in quite awhile until my cousin's sons started wrestling varsity a few years back. Seems like there is a huge show of support for his family across Ohio and in particular the Northeast district where wrestling is only slightly behind in importance to God, family and country....
