Went to Barons playoff game last night.

It is a fun place to watch a game.

They announced the next home game would be "your
Birmingham UAB Blazers."


PS I assume UAB will not be allowed to sale beer, (too bad)

He's probably referencing the football season when Legion Field sold beer for a couple of home games but then it was either shut down by either UAB or by NCAA rules. From what I remember, there were two different reasons circulating around the board as to why LF stopped selling beer at our home games.

He's probably referencing the football season when Legion Field sold beer for a couple of home games but then it was either shut down by either UAB or by NCAA rules. From what I remember, there were two different reasons circulating around the board as to why LF stopped selling beer at our home games.

Must be a UAB thing, because there's no NCAA rule against it. Lots of college venues sell alcohol. Would be a shame if they shut it down for UAB games at Regions Field

Agreed, bring out more people to catch a drink and a Blazers game.

Some people may believe it is easier to watch a UAB football if they are buzzed.

Maybe we can host the CUSA Baseball Championship indefinitely.
