im having a hard time watching BC-WF, but same with uva, fsu, & unc.

id care more about the colorado state-wyoming matchup than some of these matchups.

The fact that the game, outside of some action in the 1st quarter, has been about as much fun as watching snails race might have something to do with that...

Neither team is very good this year.

Watched a bit of the BC-WF game to scout out the division foes. BC is hardly new to us, though, having played them for 45 years until 2005.

Not much on the line, as neither figure to contend for the division. However, SU will need to defeat one or both of these schools to get bowl eligible, and beating SU will be a similar priority to them.

IMO y'all should have little problem with Wake Forest. BC is another matter...

I agree it's weird, but in a good way.

As a UConn and SMU fan, watching the first matchup of AAC schools today (Temple vs. Houston) will be interesting for me.

thats what im talking about. its like wait.....these are the schools in my conference.

i never really had a beef with ann of the AAC schools. however growing up in syracuse i learned to despise every ACC school

BC has always been an odd duck in the ACC. Watching the game vs WF was like watching a low level, mid-December bowl game.
On another note there's been so many changes in the BE/AAC that it's hard to remember who exactly is in this conference. With us leaving next year, this season feels like we're playing as an independent.

I do because I like to see who Pitt will be playing this year. I like to get an advance scouting of them, so to speak.

The problem realignment has given us is a lot of match-ups that don't feel natural.

TAMU-LSU and Arkansas-Missouri I think are good match-up additions to the SEC and TAMU generated instant interest in Bama-TAMU but for the most part you get games that seem like early December bowl games.

A&M has long time rivalries with LSU and Arkansas that went dormant during the Big 12.

Resurrecting them is a benefit of realignment

like tcu, texas a&m, colorado, & syracuse joining their new conferences was all long overdue and a very natural fit

rutgers, maryland, missouri & wvu are more like WTF kinda moves

And it would extend your losing streak to WVU to a full 2 decades...

I don't feel weird about it at all. Of course my school not moving so I'm not getting used to a whole new conference like a lot of schools. It's exciting to see the new matchups and have 4 new fan bases on the ACC board. I do look forward to next year because then all the major conferences will have the members that they're going to have for a while (except Navy in 2015). In my head, everyone has already moved, so this is a legacy season where I some times get the conference wrong.

yeah sooner or later it will have that natural feel, but right now it still feels pretty weird
