Was Snowden really a traitor or was he an advocate for the people?
I have a very difficult time trying to equate Snowden with being a full blown traitor. Legally, what he did was against the law. However, why should he be held accountable to an organization that has been breaking the law for over a decade? From what I've seen, Snowden warned the U.S. citizens of the underhanded garbage that our gov't is doing to US. Interesting reading below...

And as indicated in both articles, those weaknesses are there for other nefarious countries, terrorist groups, etc from exploiting the same. Gee...wonder if this explains all of those security breaches that have been hitting the news lately...
