I have not got to see too much of the dawgs so far--living in memphis and all. What I have seen has surprised me--2 tight end max protect sets and recivers dropping the ball--

What do ya'll think that it is gonna take to "get this party started"? I believe Ware being back will help, but LSU is gonna be really nasty to try to run on, I don't care who it is. I like the spread myself, but just curious what ya'll thought.

Go dawgs--

My take is this:

Having Ware back is huge. LSU killed us last year on their blitz packages. If we can establish a running attack LSU will have re-think the constant blitz defense, which in turn will open the passing game.

So, I think it's a simple solution. Establish a running game, making the blitz ineffective and then open the passing game when LSU is trying to defend the run. Ware has got to be huge and our offensive line has got to play like they've never played before.

Oh, and one other thing that we didn't do last year that we are better at this year. Our fullbacks picking up the blitz and blocking for Greene.

Personally, I think UGA takes this game and more than covers the 3 point spread.

I would like to see some more screens this year, something I thought was lacking in the championship game.

IMO, the play-calling has been suspect. As much as I love Mark Richt, he gets too conservative at times and it hurts us. When we get in the red zone it seems like we run the ball three times in a row. You've got an all-SEC quarterback in David Greene, let him throw the ball in the endzone! We actually had a good number of yards against South Carolina and Marshall, we just didn't put up a lot of points and I think that's the reason why.

I agree-saometimes it seems like the pressure is getting to him--but it may be he doesn't trust the o-line. They really need to improve offensively if they are gonna make a bcs bowl--

I have been really disapointed with Fred Gibson--I just know that he is capable of being a Randy Moss type--

I suggest that DJ play QB in the red zone. IMO, that is the best place to play him. It opens up a lot of options.

Anyway, I am nervous about this game. Not because I think we are going to lose, but I am afraid to lose, don't want to lose and would hate it if we lost.

I still think the Dawgs are going to more than cover the 3 points. Please pray that Corso picks LSU tomorrow morning!

That's the way I feel. Losses suck like nothing else. It's like you're sick for an entire week until you get on the field again. Even if you bounce back and win it still stings a little bit. And when you've gone 27-4 over the last 2+ seasons the losses really hurt because you don't expect them.

LOL at the Corso comment. 03-lol 03-lol 03-lol 03-lol
