Now THIS will be AMAZING publicity for Rice.
Or rather, it should be, but something tells me those producer bastards will find a way to avoid mentioning where Thor played college ball (or, more likely, limit the mention to about a half-second).

It would have been much better while Thor was with the Texans. The same-city parallels would allow, at the very least, a video montage of the Rice campus and HRS, with some mandatory footage of his on-the-field exploits while at Rice.

I'm guessing you didn't read the tweet?

The Rice Football twitter account mentioned that they helped to provide some film, which leads me to believe that his time at Rice will be included. If they went through the trouble of getting film of him while at Rice, I assume they will use it.

Tweets are short enough that even I read them. Producers requesting film doesn't mean they will use much of it; the Rice portion of the special could be limited to nothing more than a 2 second clip of Thor hurdling someone or other.

Yup. It appears you've had similar experiences vis a vis tv prodcuers that I have.
