1. Find a point guard
2. Will makes his 3-pointers
3. Gus gives us solid minutes
4. Someone else as a perimeter shooter.

I feel good about 1 and better than I did about 3. Probably 4 will happen from somewhere, but 2 is still up in the air.

That will do it.

And the thing is, getting all four is not that far-fetched.

Anything is possible. We might even have 4000 fans in the seats at a game this year.

#1 Shields must let the best players get most of the minutes and let them play without looking over their shoulders.

Rotation has to be tighter this year. Can't have your best three players on the floor only 28, 26, and 24 minutes.

I agree. Three best players need to be on the floor 30-35 minutes at least.

I am hoping the distribution last year was on purpose for the circumstances, not a trend.

I'd have to check stats, but I doubt many teams in the country have 3 guys average 35 minutes (at the least). I doubt there are more than a couple of teams, that have 3 guys average over 35 minutes game. No way Gus will ever play more than 28 minutes a game. I hope Will and James can play 30, but that would be dependent on them staying our to foul trouble.

Most teams will have two guys with 30+, and then three more something like 28-26-24.
